Figure Skating Students Glide Into Silver and Pewter at Nationals

This past summer, two 91´óÉñ students were awarded medals in the U.S. Collegiate Figure Skating Championships, sanctioned by U.S. Figure Skating, the national governing body for the sport of figure skating in the country. It is the highest level at which figure skating takes place at the college level.

91´óÉñ Is the Place to Be! First-Year Student Numbers Return to Pre-Pandemic Levels

91´óÉñ’s Class of 2026 has arrived on the Kent Campus in strong numbers – 4,251 to be exact – an increase of nearly 7% over the previous year, the largest class since before the pandemic and the eighth largest incoming class in the university’s 112-year history.

91´óÉñ Honored as a Military Spouse Friendly School

91´óÉñ’s support for its military-connected community continues to embody leadership and inclusivity as the Kent Campus has been named an official 2022-2023 Military Spouse Friendly® School by Viqtory. Out of 1,800 participating schools, 91´óÉñ was one of 665 to receive the Military Friendly School designation in March, and the university is now one of 346 institutions to earn the Military Spouse Friendly School recognition.
