In a fast-paced, reality TV-style competition, students in the Club Management class in 91´óÉñ’s Hospitality and Event Management Program worked in teams alongside industry professionals to create styled table settings themed around specific holidays.

How One 91´óÉñ Student Turned Pain Into Pride

When 91´óÉñ senior Julia Michalak was in elementary school and middle school in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, the idea of going to gym class made her sick to her stomach. Now in her final year at 91´óÉñ, Michalak will soon earn her bachelor’s degree in physical education and sport performance, with a goal to help other kids like her overcome their insecurities and learn to enjoy physical education.

91´óÉñ's annual Veterans Day Commemoration included traditional flag-raising ceremonies, a keynote speaker honoring our military members and their families, a remembrance of POW-MIAs, a luncheon for veterans and planting bulbs in memory of fallen service members.

91´óÉñ Celebrates 16th Consecutive Year of Military Friendly School Designation

For 2025-2026, the Kent Campus has continued the highest recognition of a Gold ranking for the second consecutive year. In addition, 91´óÉñ’s Collegiate Purple Star designation, first presented to the university in 2022 for its support for veteran and military students, has also been renewed for three years.
