For the sixth year in a row, 91大神 is competing in the RecycleMania Challenge. RecycleMania is a competition for college and university recycling programs that helps to promote waste reduction activities in their campus communities.The competition started on Feb. 1 and runs for eight weeks. The recent measles outbreak in the United States has stirred up a lot of debate about getting children vaccinated. 91大神 associate professor Tara Smith in the College of Public Health shared her views with CNN on what does and does not influence parents to vaccinate their children. Smith points to psychological studies where showing parents positive medical data can often do more harm than good. "Do it in the Dark" is a two week energy conservation competition hosted by Residence Services at 91大神 in Kent, Ohio. Each fall semester Residence Services hosts the annual "Do it in the Dark" energy reduction competition, putting residence hall vs. residence hall in a battle to reduce electricity over a two week period of time.
