On Wednesday, March 15th, the College of Aeronautics and Engineering hosted their biggest Career Fair to date. Over 40 companies attended, talking to students about possible career opportunities and internships. The industry is also responsible for a significant loss of trees each year to produce fabrics like rayon and viscose. Fall 2022 Introduction to Engineering Class Demonstrates Lighter than Air Projects

On December 9th, students in Dr. Benjamin Kwasa鈥檚 Introduction to Engineering course demonstrated their Lighter Than Air (LTA) projects. This project serves as a class capstone, where students are placed on teams and must successfully design, build, and fly an aircraft that adheres to a specified budget.  Students work with their teams to come up with a preliminary design before giving a presentation of their work. After passing this presentation, teams begin building their aircraft using balsa wood, propellors, and electronics such as servos, motors, and electronic speed controllers. ...

Computer Engineering Technology Seniors Present Fall Capstone Projects

On Wednesday, November 30th, Dr. Evren Koptur鈥檚 Computer Engineering Technology Capstone class presented their final projects to College of Aeronautics students, faculty, and staff.
