Movers and Groovers
鈥淢overs and Groovers鈥 will take place from August 19th 鈥 20th from 9:00am-5:00pm. Each year it takes a large number of volunteers to make this event a success, and that鈥檚 where we need your help!
Movers and Groovers volunteers will do the following:
- Greet new students as they arrive on campus!
- Help students move into their residence hall rooms (carrying bags, boxes, etc.)!
- Guide new students on campus and answer questions they may have about moving in!
- Monitor elevator flow within our residence halls!
By helping with Movers and Groovers:
- You will have the opportunity to move into your Fall 2026 residence hall room the day before your first Movers and Groovers shift(s) at no additional charge, if applicable!
- You will also receive a cool looking t-shirt
- And we can sign off on any volunteer/community service hour sheets that you may need filled!

If you are a part of an organization that would like to work at the same location, we ask that each individual involved registers for Movers and Groovers鈥搕his ensures that we have the correct number of volunteers per station as well as the correct number of t-shirts and sizes!
Note: You are welcome to sign up for more than one shift per day, but please make sure to show up to every shift that you sign up for as it helps to keep us organized.
