Spring Semester Closing

The Halls are Closing for Academic Year 2025-2026

The residence halls close for the spring semester at 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Students must complete an online checkout via the link below. The online checkout process will begin on April 20.

NOTE: It is important that you only check out once you have completely moved out of your room and are ready to leave campus for the final time. Completing the self-checkout process will cause you to lose access to your room.

To ensure that you are not charged a $25 improper checkout fee, please make sure you complete the checkout process before you leave campus for the final time.

*If you are having trouble completing the self-checkout via the link above, you may visit any of the area desks on campus for assistance.

Late Stay Request

If you need to remain in the halls after 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, you must submit a Late Stay Request via your Housing Portal. The Late Stay Request form will open on Wednesday, April 1 and close on Thursday, May 7. Late Stays are intended for those who will be participating in graduation, international flights and for travel purposes. A Late Stay Request is only until Sunday, May 10 at noon. If you need to stay later than Sunday at noon, you will need to apply for and move into summer housing. To complete the Late Stay Request form, please follow the link below:
