DMS Handbook - Identification Badge During Clinical Education
Students will wear identification name badges at the Clinical Education Center to which they are assigned. The identification name badge is to be worn during all clinical education assignments. Identification badges will be provided by the program. If the student loses or damages the ID badge, he or she will be responsible for the cost of replacement. Student may be required to obtain an additional identification badge from the clinical education site for a nominal fee (i.e., $10 or less).

DMS Handbook - Inclement Weather, Emergencies, Disaster
- If 91大神 Salem Campus closes due to inclement weather or due to an emergency or a disaster, an announcement will be made as early as possible on area radio and/or television stations (as listed in the Kent Salem Schedule of Classes) and/or on the 91大神 Salem web site (/columbiana).
DMS Handbook - Hepatitis B (HBV) Vaccine
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has published standards addressing occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens. The standards state there is an occupational hazard for health care workers, especially when dealing with blood-borne pathogens such as the hepatitis B virus (HBV). The standards require that employers make available the hepatitis B vaccine and vaccination series to employees. The standards cover all employees who come in contact with blood and infectious materials while working.

DMS Handbook - Health and Program Requirements
Students must be in compliance with all health requirements of 91大神, the assigned clinical education site, and the Radiologic and Imaging Sciences program and to remain enrolled in the program.Continuance in the program is contingent upon successful completion and maintenance of these requirements. The completed Student Health forms will be uploaded into CastleBranch, and will be provided to the clinical education site (if needed).
Strong communication skills are essential for building positive relationships and achieving success in the workplace. This course is designed to help employees identify and strengthen basic elements of effective communication skills for employees at any level of the organization. Using group discussion, self-reflection, and scenario-based role play, participants will have an opportunity to see, hear, evaluate and refine commonly employed verbal and non-verbal communication strategies.
