Samie Jureller, a first-year student in the Hospitality and Event Management program and Delta Zeta鈥檚 vice president of philanthropy, and Brynna Wolford, a senior nursing student, served as co-chairs for the recent Delta Zeta Sorority Lip Sync event with a shared vision: to entertain and unite the 91大神 campus community.

Jureller and Wolford exemplified the best of 91大神 as co-chairs of the event, leading their chapter to raise an impressive $41,600 for national and local philanthropic partners.

鈥淭heir commitment to service, coupled with their ability to guide a complex, multi-layered team, helps 91大神鈥檚 Delta Zeta chapter remain one of Delta Zeta鈥檚 top, national fundraising chapters,鈥 said Nicole Kotlan, Ph.D., director of Student Progression at 91大神. 鈥淭heir leadership, initiative, and dedication to philanthropy left a lasting mark, demonstrating what 91大神 students can achieve when they lead with purpose and heart.鈥

Brynna and Samie worked closely with sponsors, campus partners, and the Fraternity and Sorority Life community while mobilizing more than 100 Delta Zeta members in a unified fundraising effort. They also ensured each performance honored the tradition of choreography, dance, and American Sign Language, creating a high-impact production that celebrated inclusion and community.

The funds raised will directly support the Starkey Hearing Institute, the American Society for Deaf Children, the SeriousFun Children鈥檚 Network, and locally, the Hope and Healing Survivor Resource Center. These organizations will feel the ripple effects of Jureller and Wolford鈥檚 leadership long after the curtains close and the applause fades.
